 Joleen Brown, a stalwart advocate for indigenous communities, joined Native Hoop in 2012 as a graphic designer before ascending to the presidency in 2018. Recognizing the importance of upholding integrity and transparency, she transitioned the organization to a non-profit model, ensuring its mission was rooted in community service rather than profit. Under her leadership, Native Hoop has become a beacon of exclusivity, welcoming individuals from all tribal backgrounds across Turtle Island. Joleen's tireless commitment to collaboration and cultural preservation has solidified Native Hoop's platform for amplifying marginalized voices and empowering indigenous peoples worldwide, showcasing her dedication to fostering a more equitable and just society.

 Joelle Clark is a multifaceted individual, serving as a writer, artist,  educator, and lifelong advocate for Indigenous people and culture.  Notably, she chaired Whisper-n-Thunder's EREZ Fund, facilitating essential winter heating for homes across Indian Country. Residing on a small farm in Northern Florida, Joelle, alongside her husband and an assortment of animal companions, including dogs, cats, poultry, rabbits,  and turtles, pursues self-sufficiency while promoting a lifestyle harmonious with nature. Her passion for herbalism and holistic medicine is evident through her crafting and supplying of all-natural herbal products to her community, coupled with tireless efforts in educating others online and offline. Joelle's commitment to her cultural heritage,  community well-being, and environmental stewardship serves as a beacon of resilience, advocacy, and unity. 

 Jesse, drawing from over a decade of analytical expertise in prestigious roles at Wells Fargo, Citibank, and a leading pharmaceutical marketing firm in New York City, made a courageous leap from corporate comfort to found Native Analytics. Through this pioneering consultancy, he channels his deep-seated passion for community and data-driven insights into empowering tribal organizations. With a blend of analytical rigor,  cultural sensitivity, and unwavering dedication, Jesse partners closely with indigenous communities to unlock their full potential, one tailored  solution at a time, leaving an indelible mark on the intersection of tradition and modernity. 

 Carolyn Martell, With three degrees and over three decades of experience as a Family Specialist, specializing in serving physically and mentally challenged individuals and at-risk youth, you've been a stalwart advocate for family preservation within the Dependency and Neglect Court system in  Denver, Colorado. Your dedication to ensuring the safety of children while supporting parents through court-ordered treatment is evident in our home-based, wrap-around services. After retiring in 2012, your return to the non-profit sector highlights your enduring passion for making a difference, particularly through grant writing and advocacy for  Native American communities, reflecting your deep-seated commitment to humanitarian values and selfless acts of kindness. 

 D.F. Thunderhawk is a dedicated advocate within the Native community,  showcasing a profound commitment to service through various organizations. Notably, she has served as the editor of Native Hoop magazine since 2014, where she amplifies Indigenous voices and narratives,  providing a platform for cultural expression and community empowerment.  Her editorial role reflects her unwavering dedication to uplifting her people and ensuring their stories are heard and valued. Additionally,  Thunderhawk's past involvement in the Title 7 Indian Education Program and the Native American Student Union of Lane Community College underscores her ongoing efforts to support and celebrate Native culture and heritage.
